This apartment is situated in the historical centre of Praiano, a jewel-like town in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
The apartment offers an excellent panoramic position with splendid views of the coast and Positano. It is centrally located in the more quiet and calm part of the town.
The property has been recently renovated and boasts all modern comforts. It is particularly suited to a clientele looking for a holiday of tranquillity and is found off the comunale asciola ST. which takes its name from the old Saracen tower built by Charles D'Angio and can be reached by many steps.
Praiano is one of the most alluring towns on the Amalfi Coast; The inlet is contained by tall rock cliffs which plunge into the sea.
There are walking paths cut into the rock and winding along the coast. There is shopping and there are several restaurants offering typical local food. Praiano is equipped with all modern conveniences you might need during your vaction. It is situated 4km from Positano,8km from the famous marine republic of Amalfi, only 12km from Ravello. All of them can be reached by public transportation.
The pebble beach at La Praia offers several typical restaurants, boat-hire and underwater (Sub) school can be reached by bus in only 5minutes.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Praiano et nus ne manquerons pas de parler de cette très belle villa, parfaitement bien située, même s'il faut être en fotrme pour gravir la petite centaine de marches. Toujours est-il qu'arrivés en haut, la clim et l'eau fraiche nous attendaient! Tout y est, la belle terrasse, la splendide vue....tout est plaisant et nous espérons y retourner. Merci Elisabetta!

The Amalfi coast is an exhilarating experience in many ways... the stunning views, the little towns clinging to cliff faces - and of course the roads and Italian drivers! However, Casa Elisabetta is an oasis of tranquility and calm, once you've made it up the steps! It is very well equipped and we particularly enjoyed the terrace with its wonderful views. The nights we chose to cook for ourselves were a pleasure as we sat and watched the lights come on in Praiano. We used the local buses to get to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano - and we loved to walk down to the cove at Marina di Praia to sunbathe and have lunch. Altogether a lovely apartment in a beautiful setting.

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Elisabetta, but there were a couple of things that could have been approved. Just so everyone knows...the AC and the heating is the same. Just realise, even though there are radiators in this cottage, they don't work for heating. The steps were unexpected, but helped with our physical fitness. If you're not fit, don't come or expect a serious workout. The view is splendid and we loved our stay. Positano was an unexpected treasure.

Casa Elisabetta was PERFECT! It is best suited for people who like going up steps...to paradise. Elisabetta greeted us like we were family. The little attentions like water and food in the fridge were so welcoming. Leaving was very difficult. Grazie Mille

Our visit to the Amalfi Coast this past August was incredible. We stayed in Praiano 4 years ago with our children and stayed at another venue via Cutty Shark (www.italy-rental-villa.net). This time, only my wife and I were travelling and this time found Casa Elisabetta to be the perfect place to stay. Very clean, very comfortable, a wonderful view, full of all amenities. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived, with Elizabeth greeting us, showing us around, cheese and tomatoes and basil and bread, all of it there. We would most highly recommend this venue, perfect for a couple such as ourselves, as well as reserving through Cutty Shark.

Beautiful apartment even better than some of the pictures on the website. It was a bit of a hike to get to. Guess we imagined there would be parking right next to the apartment, but definitely not the case. Prepare yourself for a physically demanding hike up about 100 steep steps. The first trip with the luggage took our breath away both literally and figuratively (the view is better than advertised). Local towns were very nice, but found it often difficult to find descent parking. The parking for the apartment is directly across from a hotel on the main road and actually parking your car is not for the weary of heart as you must position your car perfectly often requiring to stop traffic on both sides of the road. The hosts were extremely nice a mostly attentive. I did have a difficult time getting in contact via phone once, but she explained that the phone was not working after she knocked on the door. We were promised wifi inclusive of the property, but were disappointed to find out it did not exist. The air conditioning and heating is located in the same unit operated with a remote control. We were pretty cold for a couple early days until we figured out that heating was in the same machine as air conditioning. Also the hot water heater works well but the electric button (at the wall) should be pushed in toward the top to operate...exactly opposite of our home in England. Unfortunately we picked a bad weather week, but all in all would definitely recommend this apartment if you want a quiet stay on the Amalfi cost. Good luck with the weather.
