Detailed description
This property is situated in the historical centre of Praiano, a jewel-like town in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
The house enjoys an excellent panoramic position with splendid views of the coast and Positano. It is centrally located in the more quiet and calm part of the town.
The property has been recently renovated and boasts all modern comforts.It is particularly suited to a clientele who seeks tranquillity and is found off the comunale asciola ST. which takes its name from the old Saracen tower built by Charles D’Angio and can be reached by many steps.
Praiano is one of the most alluring towns on the Amalfi Coast; The inlet is contained by tall rock cliffs which plunge into the sea.
There are walking paths cut into the rock and winding alog the coast. There is shopping and there are several restaurants offering typical local food. Praiano is equipped with all modern conveniences. It is situated 4km from Positano,8km from the famous marine republic of amalfi,only 12km from Ravello; All of which can be reached by public transportation.
The rocky beach at “the Praia” which offers several typical restaurants, boat-hire and underwater (Sub) school can be reached by or bus in only 5minutes.
The apartment consists of:
- kitchen with all modern conveniences
- bedroom with double bed
- living-room with sofa-bed and T.U.
- bathroom with shower and bathtub
The whole apartment is air conditioned.

"We just came back from an enchanting trip to the Amalfi coast and an extraordinary stay in Casa Elisabetta. The appartment is marvelous, exactly as described and showed in the pictures.
However, I think it would be important to mention the fact that the appartment can only be reached by climbing about 200 steps and that luggages must absolutely be light and small (there is a washing machine, which is very helpful). It could be irresponsible to rent this appartment to elderly people or to families with young children.
The owners, the Ruocco family, were extremely nice and their daughter, Elisabetta, is a sweetheart. She gets by in English and is very helpful if you need information about anything in Praiano.
Casa Elisabetta is located in the quieter part of Praiano/Vettica Maggiore and that is really marvelous. Praiano is much less touristic than Amalfi, Positano or Sorrento and so much more beautiful. We were extremely happy with our choice.
I would recommend Casa Elisabetta to anyone in good health. The view from the terrace alone is definitely worth the climbing of the steps !!!"
