The house owens its name to its best characteristic: 'prima lux' in latin means sunrise. This house is located in the historical center of Praiano, a splendid resort which is only 4 Km from Positano in the Amalfi Coast.
It has a superb panoramic position with a wide view of the sea and of the coast which surrounds the characteristic village of Praiano.
Is situated in the center of the town which is quiet and noiseless and where it is easy to find a parking-lot for the car. This house is the right choice for people who are looking for tranquillity.
Praiano is the heart of the Amalfi Coast and this tract of coast is covered by the green of olive trees, broken here and there by the white roofs of the houses, by the ancient church and the panoramic small square.
The pebble beach la Praia offers many typical restaurants, boat hiring and diving classes and it can be reached by car or by the local bus in 5 minutes. Grocery shops, restaurants, bars and other services you might need are available in the town.
Amalfi (8 Km) and ravello (12 Km) can be easily reached by bus.

"Prima Lux is a wonderful apartment with a great view of the sea and the sunrise if you can bear to get up that early (around 6:30 in late summer). It's exactly as portrayed in the pictures, and very clean. There are basic cooking utensils provided if you want to cook but a good pizzeria nearby and restaurants in town if you don't.
Our host Ivan did his best to communicate with us in English and he was very kind and helpful. Getting to the beach is a bit tricky and involves lots of downhill and flights of stairs that take you to a concrete slab of a beach but catch the bus which stops just outside the apartment and it will take you to the Praia marina beach on the eastern edge of town. All the shopping you need is around the bend on the western side of Praiano and easily accessible by foot. If you want a good view of the sunset grab a coffee or an ice cream at Bar del Sol or walk west from the apartment about 50 meters to get a view of the sunset and Positano."
